Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy describes what Rendio stores on your device when you visit getrendio.com. Short version: no cookies are set, and there is no third-party tracking. A small amount of browser local storage is used for functional purposes only — listed in full below.
The short version
Rendio sets zero cookies of its own. The only third-party script we load is Plausible, which is cookieless by design and collects anonymous, aggregate page-view statistics. Some preferences (consent choice, dismissed notices, your saved-listings list, your waitlist email, a per-day view counter) are stored in your browser's local storage; they never leave your device.
1. Browser local storage we use
These items are stored in your browser by Rendio for the purpose noted next to each. They are not cookies, not transmitted to our servers, and not shared with any third party. Clearing site data removes them.
- •rendio_cookies — your choice on the cookie banner ("accepted" or "essential"). Used to avoid re-showing the banner.
- •rendio_notice_dismissed — whether you dismissed the privacy notice.
- •rendio_waitlist_email — your waitlist email, remembered locally so the form doesn't re-prompt you on the same browser.
- •rendio_saved — your saved-listings list. Local only; never sent to our servers.
- •rendio_views_YYYY-MM-DD — per-day view counter for the free-tier limit. Local only.
- •rendio_ref — referral code carried from a referral link. Local only.
2. Cookieless analytics (Plausible)
We use Plausible Cloud (Plausible Insights OÜ, Estonia — EU). Plausible is cookieless by design: it sets no cookies, collects no personal data, and does not track users across sessions or sites. It records anonymous, aggregate page-view statistics only (page URL, referrer, approximate country, device type). You cannot be identified from this data.
3. No third-party tracking
Rendio does not load Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, Hotjar, Intercom, or any other third-party tracking or advertising script. We do not sell, share, or expose data to ad networks.
4. How to clear what's stored
Open your browser's developer tools (F12), go to Application → Local Storage → getrendio.com, and delete any rendio_* key. Clearing all site data from your browser settings also removes every item listed above.
5. Contact
